All we need to know is what we were warned about, almost 2000 years ago. Jesus told us when we saw the abomination that makes desolate to flee to the mountains. First we must see that in a new light. That event is interpreted to be an invasion of Gods temple by the 'man of perdition' and/or anti-christ, and that 'temple' is assumed to be a new Jewish temple to be built in Jerusalem. But that religion was replaced by God when He sacrificed His Son by letting the Romans murder Him on Golgotha. Jesus said Gods Temple is inside us, that our bodies are His Temple, just as Jeremiah said hundreds of years before. God told us He would change His religion. Any new Jewish temple will be a false religion.
The "mark of the beast" and the "abomination that causes desolation" are the same thing. They don't need to control soldiers with something that will make them robots. Putting a chip or mark of vaccination on people that will be able to turn off their bank accounts and starve them is all they need.
